Emu Eggshell Grade A

These beautiful green Emu Eggshells are ideal for many types of arts & crafts such as: etching, carving, painting, Fabergé decorating, pysanky, etc.

Emu eggs have three layers: the inner most layer is white; the middle layer is teal green; and the outer layer is a darker green textured coating. These distinctively colored layers allow artists to etch or carve into them giving their artwork a three dimensional look even without painting.

All of our emu eggshells are blown, cleaned & deodorized and ready for display or further decorating. They are perfect for the hobbyist or just for a beautiful, unique display or centerpiece. We drill just one hole in the large end of the shell, this allows the shell to be displayed in a variety of ways.

Emu Eggshells are naturally a green color with a slightly textured outer layer. However, colors may vary from light green to very dark green and some will be more heavily textured than others. Sizes will vary from approximately 5-7" long & 10-14" around. These natural variances make each Emu eggshell unique and one of a kind.
