In a nutshell, Emuleve™ is better at reducing inflammation than the regular oil. Clearly Emu™ has the same increased anti-inflammatory effects as the Emuleve™ but is also better at penetrating through the skin.

Emu oil can vary significantly from batch to batch. One of the first things to do is to look for the American Emu Association certification seal. This means that the oil has been tested at the time of processing by an independent third party to verify that it meets or exceeds the Emu Oil Trade Rules. Yes, our emu oil is considered odor free. There is a lot of emu oil on the market today, however all too often it is either not processed correctly, or has gone rancid. All fresh, high quality, AEA Certified emu oil should be odor free.

MSM stands for "methysulfanylmethane" and is a natural organic source of sulfur, well known to alternative medicine reportedly as a highly effective, nontoxic substance used to reduce arthritis pain, stiffness and inflammation of tissue. Found in all living organisms, MSM is crucial to body function and structure and aids the body in creating and repairing cells enabling the body to heal itself on a cellular level rather than covering up symptoms. Glucosamine & Chondroitin are compounds naturally occurring and found in the connective tissues of the body, including the cartilage that covers the ends of bones in the joints. Laboratory studies suggest that these compounds may inhibit the breakdown of cartilage and may have the potential to help buildup cartilage. Glucosamine has also been shown to have unique anti-inflammatory effects. Early results show Chondroitin also seems to work as an anti-inflammatory and reduce pain. Liberal amounts of Glucosamine and Chondroitin are included in the MaXXiRub formulation.

"COX" stands for cyclooxygenase, an enzyme that controls inflammation. This enzyme was discovered in 1976, but it was not until 1991 that scientists realized that there were actually 2 enzymes which they named COX-1 and COX-2. COX-2 is the enzyme that is found mostly at sites of inflammation, while COX-1 has other functions in the body, like maintaining the stomach lining. That is why drugs like asprin which are non-selective and inhibit both COX-1 and COX-2 are irritating to the stomach. COX-2 inhibitors are selective in that they mostly inhibit only the production of COX-2 which is actually the enzyme that causes the inflammation. COX-2 inhibitors are an integral component of MaXXiRub.

Try applying the emu oil just before feeding or walking your pet. Emu oil will penetrate in a matter of minutes, and by the time they think of licking the oil again it should have had time to penetrate.

SLS is a detergent that is put into many products that produce lather, like soap, shampoo, and even toothpaste. For some people SLS can cause rashes and other skin irritations. For those people, or for those who want a more natural solution to hair care, we offer the Rejuvenating line of hair care products.

For those who aren't sensitive to SLS, we offer the Revitalizing Shampoo and Revitalizing Conditioner, which are specially formulated with emu oil and other natural ingredients to moisturize and repair damaged hair.

Grade A egg shells are great for displaying the eggs their natural state or if you looking for the best quality. Grade B egg shells may have slight blemishes, such as scratches, stains, natural blemishes, etc. They are not cracked or broken in any way. Grade B egg shells are mostly used by artists for painting or carving where these blemishes are covered up.

Due to government regulations, egg shell exports (even for one shell) take around 6 months and $150 in fees. Since this is prohibitive for most of our customers we regret that we no longer have an export license for egg shells.
