Ostrich Eggshell Grade B

These are genuine blown-out empty eggshells.

These are average size ostrich eggshells. If you are looking for larger sized eggshells check out our Large or Jumbo sized ostrich eggs. See below for size details.

Ostrich Eggshells are ideal for many types of egg arts & crafts such as: etching, carving, painting, Fabergé decorating, pysanky, etc.

Size Details - Height and width circumference will vary. There will be 1 hole located on 1 end of the eggshell. The hole size will be anywhere from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inch across.

Grade B - Whole eggshells with imperfections such as chips or scratches in the outside layer, irregularly shaped, irregular shaped hole, misplaced hole, larger than normal hole, irregular color or texture, etc. Perfect for decorating, painting, or decoupage. These eggshells are not cracked or broken. Since these are real eggshells there may be natural color and texture variations.

Ostrich eggshells have two layers: the inner layer is white and the outer layer is a pearly white dimpled layer. Each one is unique and genuinely beautiful.

All of our eggshells are blown, cleaned, sanitized, and ready for display or further decorating. No polish is used on the exterior. Each egg is individually wrapped to protect it during shipping.

Ostrich Eggshells are naturally a light yellow color with a dimpled outer layer. However, colors may vary from off white to creamy yellow and some will be more heavily dimpled than others. These natural variances make each Ostrich eggshell unique and one of a kind.

Ordered this egg on Amazon, was expecting it in 3-5 days, got it in just 2...off to a good start. This is a B rated egg so I'm expecting some blemishes, perhaps a scrape, or some discoloration, I was only able to find a single small scrape on the surface. Everything else looks really nice. The egg was clean, well packaged, and ready for my first every attempt at carving. I'll add to this as I come to the end of this journey. Thus far Uniquely Emu has impressed.
